This past Sunday I had the great privilege of volunteering at the Victorian Valentine Workshop at the Wistariahurst Museum in Holyoke,MA. It was a wonderful day to step back in time to the Victorian era, full of beauty and charm. There were tables set with vintage pictures, glittering sequin, and ribbons in all colors and sizes to create your own Victorian valentine. There was plenty of inspiration, from the vintage valentines on display in the exquisite Music Room to the beautiful decor in the dining room as you walked to the workshop. It was a fun time with everyone sharing their ideas and talent and smiling at their own creations. We all walked out with our own valentines. It was a sweetheart of an afternoon.
